DSP Is BACK And I Hope His Redemption Story Is One For The Ages
He has risen!!!
It’s under sad circumstances with Oshie being sidelined, but DSP is back with the Caps. I am thrilled for him, as are all Caps fans. Last year’s playoff run would not have been possible without him. He is responsible for what I consider the best and most important goal in Caps history
He is an energy guy who has a knack for making big plays when they need it the most. He scored the GWG in game 6 vs Columbus last year, and then lit the lamp in 3 straight in the Finals vs Vegas.
This could become an all time redemption story. He re-signed in DC, turning down more money elsewhere, but was sent down to Hershey midway through the season for not producing. He got back on the right track with the Bears, tallying 14 points in 20 games. If he comes back and scores a goal or two and turns this series around, it could be an all time redemption story.
DSP is already a legend, and I’d love for him to do it again. Would be all time.
